Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.
“The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ” (1 Corinthians 12:12).
This spiritual truth has manifested itself in many situations. I have been blest and humbled by the many times God has worked for and through His faithful for this ministry overseen by Rev. Daniel Paul. Thank you for your part.
Rev. Paul reported that his wife, Cliney, finally was able to go and mourn with family in Port au Prince after the death of Rev. Neona Isador, a relative of Cliney’s. Rev. Paul said, “This was very good for her and the family to have this time together. But the family is really struggling with Rev. Neona not being with them.”
We talked about the crops and animals. The rains have been nourishing and the gardens are being planted, tended to, and harvested involving various crops. Praise God for the willing hands to work the ground. Thirteen goats were given to the ministry by Espwa Nouvel International, a group that is partnering with MADO to bring agriculture classes to the children and field based learning. The boys are in charge of tending to the goats. They will be used as breeding stock, and some will be for meat. “They (the boys) are excited to have responsibility for the goats,” Rev. Paul commented. Pigs were given to the ministry a couple years ago. These are also a good source of meat; they maintain a boar and some sows and butcher as available.
Please pray for proper care for Rev. Paul’s eyes as he needs special medicine and a procedure to follow-up his glaucoma surgery. Rev. Paul also mentioned that an older responsible orphan, Sandia, has a kidney stone and they are trying to get her care.
God’s peace to you,
Rev. Sam Wiseman
